Directions

Wellington Avenue United Church of Christ is located on the north side of Chicago, in the heart of Lakeview, at 615 W. Wellington Avenue (just west of Broadway and four blocks south of Belmont Avenue).

Worship Services

Our regular worship services are held every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. We have a traditional worship service, based on the word of God, which includes a call to worship, a call to confession, a sermon, and a variety of music including vocal, instrumental, and choral.

The service of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month except during Lent. Communion is also held during the Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday services.

Sunday School

Wellington has an active church school program for age three and up. Children attend the first part of the service with their parents and then leave for church school. Nursery care is available for younger children.

Coffee Hour

Following the worship service everyone is invited to take part in a coffee hour in the downstairs dining room. All are welcome!

Parking

Street parking is available in the neighborhood parking stickers are also available to park in the west end of the Dominicks lot off Broadway. Stickers are available through the church office.

Special Services

Pastor Dale will be glad to speak with anyone regarding officiating at special services such as weddings, baptisms or memorial services.
